About Mölnlycke Wound Care

Mölnlycke is a leading global provider of wound care solutions for 'hard-to-heal' and acute wounds across various healthcare settings with the aim to reduce patient pain and discomfort, prevent infection, and promote faster healing. The business area also provides innovative digital tools for wound assessment and solution selection, reinforcing the company’s commitment to digitalisation in healthcare.

The Wound Care vision is to free patients, caregivers, and healthcare systems from the burden of wounds. This vision drives a multi-stakeholder approach supporting patients, clinicians, at-home caregivers, and non-clinical decision-makers by providing easy-to-use and effective diagnosis and treatment solutions.

The role

The communications lead for Wound Care will own and drive the overall communications strategy for the business area, ensuring alignment with the company's purpose to revolutionise care for people and planet and craft the internal and external narratives that effectively communicate Wound Care's strategic priorities.

In this role you will work closely with leadership to create and implement communication activities that support both the corporate strategy, the Wound Care business area's specific objectives, and Mölnlycke’s overall brand performance. The communications efforts will help bridge the gap between strategic vision and day-to-day operations, particularly during periods of global market expansion, portfolio diversification, sustainability initiatives, and progress on environmental commitments.

As communications responsible for Wound Care, your expertise will be essential in translating complex matters into clear, engaging content that resonates with various target groups. Additionally, you will develop and implement tracking methodologies, using data to measure the effectiveness of communications initiatives.

What the ideal candidate will bring

As the ideal candidate, you have at least ten years of experience working both strategically and operationally in communications, in a global environment.

Extensive cross-functional experience including working with executive communications and supporting change management initiatives that advance organisational transformation in global matrix structures is a pre-requisite. In addition, you must be well-versed in developing and executing multi-channel communications strategies that deliver on set objectives.

Knowledge of crisis communications is advantageous, as would experience with communications related to manufacturing facilities.

Personal qualities

You are confident in advising leadership on communication matters. In addition to this, you can impact the ongoing internal discussion and are resilient enough to drive initiatives through.

In order to thrive in this role, you are a collaborative team player who can also work independently. You are highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, always delivering high quality work while meeting deadlines across the board.

In this role you must excel in English – both written and verbally.

This position is located at Mölnlycke's HQ in Gothenburg and you will report to the VP Brand & Communications.
